When adaptive transparency is activated in case of visual interference, water and particles are not visible through this transparency. Okay, the particles are not visible, but I would like to see the water. There is no such problem with lava.

Thanks for reporting. This is a bug of vanilla Minecraft and incredibly hard to fix, if not even impossible with the current render engine.
