Backported to 1.21.1 please, the requested feature would be the following

When remember last perspective is ON

Current behaviour: The player dies in shoulder surfing perspective. Hits Respawn, spawns with first person view.

Requested behaviour: Spawn with the last used perspective.

Interesting, This sounds like a bug to me and I'm unable to reproduce it. Can you please give more information how to reproduce it, and maybe share your config? Do you have any other mods installed?

Seems like a the cause is Revive mod.
