Incompatible with armor from `Create`

There are 6 armor items in Create: copper/netherite diving boots, helmets, and backtanks, but none of them works with this mod.

This doesn't work, and still isn't fixed in any version.

I've looked into Create armor rendering, but its very convoluted and seems to bypass standard Fabric API's. I don't think I'll be fixing this on my side. This issue will be left open to track any potential developments though.

I'm aware of this issue, but haven't been able to track down the cause. I'm investigating.

It looks like something was fixed in 1.20 branch, will you be doing a backport to 1.19.2?

It also seems to be the case with the helmets added by Create Goggles, in MC 1.19.2. Should I open a separate issue for that?
