Does this happen every time or did it only happen once? What minecraft version did you use?

In case you still use this mod, I'd like to know whether the bug still occurs with the newer versions. I was not able to reproduce it, so if it still does, I need some more details:
-what minecraft/mod version do you use?
-do the destinations/overlays/textures also reset?

Edit:
-does it happen with large signposts too?
