Gear Mod Kit required to swap or/and add parts

What Should Be Added or Changed?
-
Using the Gear Mod Kit as the Catalyst to swap tool and armor parts, not just remove parts. The Gear Mod kit will have durability as well to add to this feature. Also using Gear Mod kits to turn Vanilla Tools and Armor to their Silent Gear counterparts.
-
Adding Replace, Add, and Adjust (Turning Vanilla tools and armor to S.G.) to it's functions. (Changing "remove mod kit" to "Edit mod kit")
Why Should This Be Done?
- This is with my experience with Tinker's Construct in that area, and to make things a bit different in that regard. Since they use a Table as catalyst with no durability (tool station) to swap parts.
It goes to say, swapping parts without a catalyst makes things a bit too easy to upgrade some tools. Gear Mod kits will fill an inventory slot yes, but also adding durability will also make use of the dagger to make template boards more often. Making them more reliable tools for upgrades, instead of a one shot item.
This is where I will say to add some "Logic" into this, I tend to see vanilla tools and armor as "crude" by itself, but using the gear mod kit (in imagination) to fix the crudeness and making the armor and tools upgradable.
