Obsidian feels too strong

What Should Be Added or Changed?
Currently Obsidian is a very strong early game material, that will not only give you tools that can mine about everything, armor that gives you very strong protection, and a decent weapon combined with lots of durability, it is also very easy to get in large quantities. That makes it feel pointless to even try to make gear and armor out of other materials, as Obsidian is cheap, easy and good.
Generally I would like to see two things changed to this:
- Consider reducing the effectiveness of Obsidian down to stone equivalent. Since Obsidian still has the extremely high durability it would still be a very desirable material to get to make i.E. a pickaxe to mine tons of stone with, or for that automation thing that needs a tool but you don't feel like repairing it all the time. It would however feel much more in line with the other materials.
Alternatively, or maybe in combination with that:
- Allow a config option to disable certain materials, so modpack creators can easily change what's available and what is not.
Disabling materials in a modpack is as easy as creating a datapack (following the structure in the Github Wiki). Creating a file under /data/silentgear/silentgear-materials/MATERIALNAMEHERE.json and just put a valid file structure without a resource to craft it. Work around for now.
