Versions
- Silent Gear: 4.0.8
- Silent's Gems: 5.0.3
- Silent Lib: 10.3.0
- (Neo)Forge: 21.1.73
- Modpack: N/A
- Optifine Installed: No
- Sodium Installed = Ver: 0.6.0-beta.4
- Iris Installed = Ver: 1.8.0-beta.5
Expected Behavior
I expected my sword to do as much attack damage as was listed in silent gear's weapon description.
Actual Behavior
I crafted a Diamond Sword and in a survival world a Diamond Machete. They used some titanium parts from the Easy Steel mod. The attack damage according to silent gear's numbers are 10.6 for the Sword, but the listed actual damage is 5. This is even less than a standard Minecraft Diamond Sword at 8. I would expect the crafted sword to be close to 10.6 damage. I will attach two pictures, one displaying the weapons stats showing silent's damage, and the actual damage Minecraft thinks it is.
- Note: I do have Golden Age Combat mod (pre 1.9 attack behavior), Better Combat, Epic Knights Weapons and Armor mod, and Description Tooltips (I think is what the mod is called) installed included in my 222 installed mods. I have tested the damage and can confirm the crafted sword does only 5 points of damage. Again the Minecraft Diamond Sword does about 8 per hit.

(Apologies if I didn't fill out everything correctly or with desired detail/information. This is my first time submitting a bug report)
Steps to Reproduce the Problem
- Get a Default Minecraft Diamond Sword
- Craft a Diamond Sword with Silent Gear using Titanium as the rod, Diamonds for the blade, optional add fine silk binding, leather grip, & diamond tip upgrade. (Check image that shows construction of sword for more info if needed.)
- Attack a wither skeleton and compare damage values (or any mob, just used wither skeleton as target-dummy).
By the way I just recently did a new test. I check Golden Age Combat's config to see if it was messing with anything and I think it was causing the issue. Unsure if it is a bug on their end or yours (probably) theirs. But their config option of "Legacy Attack Damage Values" under their Common Config options was on and changed silent gear attack damage. I turned it off and the sword appears to be working as intended now. Sorry if this caused any inconveniences, and if I should post the report elsewhere. Again this is my first time submitting a report.
Let me know if you need anything more from me! Thank you for all of your mods and for your dedication to keeping them working! Love this mod and I am so glad you are keeping it updated as this is a must have for pretty much any Minecraft playthrough. Honestly your mod is so good that it should be a part of the base game haha. Though I guess that would make this mod redundant if they did. Unless they hired you to add it. Still wonderful mod! Keep up the awesome work!
