Exception occurs when using /sgear_random_gear with a custom material datapack

Expected Behavior

It actually generating the tool.

Actual Behavior

It crashes with a EncoderException and a IllegalStateException afterwards.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Load a world with Silent Gear, its dependencies and the linked datapack.
  2. Run /sgear_random_gear @s silentgear:<tool id> (I used silentgear:axe for the crash to happen)
  3. See your world crash.
