Versions

  • Silent Gear: 4.0.11
  • Silent's Gems: N/A
  • Silent Lib: 10.3.1
  • Forge: Neoforge-21.1.95
  • Modpack: All the Mods 10
  • Optifine Installed: No

Expected Behavior

Cycle Next and Back buttons work.

Actual Behavior

Have unbound all other references to the Z and C keys in my Key Binds, but neither button works either via JEI to scroll through the Silent Gear stats for an item, or on the Silent Gear Blueprint Book to cycle through the blueprints inside the book.

The game log shows a GL keybind error every time I press either of the bound keys for these two functions:

[16Jan2025 22:59:13.187] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: ########## GL ERROR ##########
[16Jan2025 22:59:13.187] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: @ Render
[16Jan2025 22:59:13.187] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: 65539: Invalid key -1
[16Jan2025 22:59:13.215] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: ########## GL ERROR ##########
[16Jan2025 22:59:13.215] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: @ Render
[16Jan2025 22:59:13.215] [Render thread/ERROR][com.mojang.blaze3d.platform.Window/]: 65539: Invalid key -1

It always shows the Invalid key as "-1", but both the options.txt and the in game key binds screen show the correct Z and C keys.

I have also attempted to remap the keys to something completely different that have no conflicts elsewhere (specifically Insert and Home), and the tooltip shows the correct keys, but they still do not work.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Open JEI
  2. Locate a Silent Gear material
  3. Hover over it and hold shift or ctrl
  4. Press one of the cycle buttons
  5. Observe nothing happens

Alternately

  1. Have a Blueprint Book in your inventory with more than one Blueprint inside
  2. Hover over the blueprint book
  3. Press one of the cycle buttons
  4. Observe nothing happens

The GL keybind errors may be a red herring here; these show up when I press ANY button with the inventory screen / JEI up. Other keybinds work, however. e.g. F will still swap items to your offhand, R / U still work to bring up the appropriate JEI bits, etc.

Closing this issue - it is a modpack problem with the current version of ATM10 (v2.25). The previous version of the modpack (2.24) which uses the same version of the Silent's mods works.
