Grinder doesn't drop when mined, and only getting 2 dust out of materials

I am running the latest mod version for 1.19.2, as well as minecraft 1.19.2 on Forge 43.2.8. When trying to break the grinder, it takes ten or fifteen seconds to break and drops nothing, regardless of pickax used. Also, when the grinder is used it doubles, not triples material. I have looked for a config file in hopes there is some kind of config to adjust these things, but can't find one.
