Sentry gun makes game time out on newest version of Flans Mod

Describe the bug
After you place down the sentry gun in flans mod, and it tries to lock onto a mob, all the mobs freeze, and the game times out.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
- Spawn hostile mobs.
- Place down sentry.
Expected behaviour
All the mobs freeze and when you try to save and exit the game just freezes and eventually crashes.

- Forge: 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2854
- Flan's Mod: 5.7.2

I might also add I am using the LATEST (updated 5 months ago) version of Forge for 1.12.2
Try with this version of Forge : 14.23.5.2818
I can't download this version of Forge. The installers are all broken as Forge changed server hosts for their installers recently. Can you provide a copy of your .minecraft/versions/1.12.2-(forge installation) folder so I can manually "install" and use that?
