I noticed that kills caused by explosions, whether it be a grenade, RPG, or a helicopter's missiles, are not counted in the scoreboard, neither for the individual player or the team (when applicable)
However, I noticed that it still showed on the bottom right that SoAndSo [icon] SoAndSo as it does for everything else which it will still count.
