when using any map mod the direction of travel isnt correctly displayed on the minimap. it just becomes locked in south direction and you have to guess where yo uare going. This used to work with older versions of the mod.
It seems odd that you said it used to work with older versions of the mod. Could you say which one? This issue is something that would be particularly tricky to fix and I don't think it was ever really fixed.
if memory serves, it worked before the addition of the liquid fuel engine. maybe something odd from the 1.18 backport from 1.19?
