while charging the electric engine (im using mekanism wind turbines) i notice i have to sit in the plane for the engine to charge, because if i dont the charge will get to 30000 FE and then go to -30000 and loops around again.
edit: it basically looks like its not charging, but it is. there isnt a way to tell the actual numbere of FE left, but you can see the actual amount by the right offhand slot with the bar of energy.
