Large Performance hit when using Simple Storage on 1.15.2

i5-3570k 16gb ram, Manjaro Linux.
Describe problem (what you were doing / what happened):
We have a large Simple Storage system set up in our base, and our server's tick rate is VERY negatively impacted while running Simple Storage. Crafting Ingots from blocks, or vice versa will very quickly cause the server to crash (Tick takes longer than 60 seconds)
The server's average tick speed is also very slow while having the Simple Storage mod installed. Removing the Simple Storage mod from my server's mod list reduced the average tick to ~40ms down from 110+ms/tick.

I know this is an old issue but i wonder if there was room for the exports to put the stuff into also the name of the mod is simple storage network it could be just at the limit of what it can do
Attaching video, server tick rate is around 90ms per tick, breaking the storage controller instantly brings this down to ~50m per tick.
