I need to wear headphones because of hearing issues, when I try to use voice chat and select a microphone and speaker, I can talk to other people, but the tradeoff is that Minecraft is then muted. In order to go back to hearing the game, I need to deselect at least my microphone, and then people won't hear me again.

I've looked to see if there are similar issues, but if there are I've missed them. I'm hoping for a little help in fixing this issue.
