It would be cool if we could have vertical dynamic edge lights. Like how it is in the screenshots below.

that would make a edge light have 8191 blockstates, for 1 color :P
i have some ideas on how to reduce it a bit, but havnt tested anything yet.

Sadly, i dont have any programming experience and was surprised its such a thing. Even without the feature that it forms automatically it would just be nice to have it!
