
[Suggestion]: Static Dynamic Edge Lights

Personally, sometimes I'd much rather not have it dynamically morph to hug the wall, for example, I use them to outline my factory (shown in the following photo).
But, when breaking them to place machines against the wall, I want to be able to re-place them in between without them hugging those blocks (like shown below).
The problem with the photo right above this is that I would needed to have placed the light first, then break the ones around it and place machines, so in places that the light is put afterwards, you get the following:
And this is annoying.
Now I know this isn't the only application where static edge lights would come in handy. You don't need to make a new set that is dynamic, but maybe a wrench or something I can use to right click on them to change them from dynamic to static, based on initial orientation.
