Bug: Disabling shading on entities makes the totem of undying pop animation dark

Bump, just wondering if there's any updates on this issue?
I have not yet reproduce this issue
Okay, one thing I can do is check if it's because of conflicting mods which is likely given how many mods I have. Does that sound ok to you? Let me know if you need any other sort of help

Sure, thanks. I remembered testing one or some few of the mods. I'll have to redo the checks.
This issue is happening even if I'm using just the mod by itself. Here are the screenshots and logs:
An interesting detail I noticed is that the back side of the totem in its popping animation is normal
I also tried disabling all of my resource packs but that didn't work either
Huh, so it's not an incompatibility with other mods nor resource packs. So I did definitely tested the wrong (mc) version.
Thank you. I can now reproduce this issue. I'll have to see where it's not working tomorrow morning.
Verified that this issue does not affect 1.21.6 version of this mod. Everything below seems to have this issue.
New version is released for 1.21.1 (and 1.21.2). It should fix this issue...
Yup, can confirm that the issue is fixed. Thank you so much for the help! Means a lot to me :)
Is there something that can be done about this?
- If you getting the animation is not a common thing, then maybe a wait for new fix version could do.
- If it is frequent enough, you could re-enable entity shading until the fix is released.
Hello! I am looking into the issue, may I have a screenshot? I am not sure on what is wrong or that perhaps I am unable to reproduce this issue. Some additional info would help. (Oh, also the version of the game, tnx)
Hi! I'm on vacation so as of right now I can't help you. I'll come back at 18th of June so around that time or a little later is when I can help.
Hey there, here's the screenshot of the issue and here's my logs with all of the info you might need.
