[1.19.2] Swapping a two handed weapon into offhand slot deletes it

Whenever me or my friends swap a two handed weapon into our offhand it vanishes with no apparent way to get it back.

Simply Swords doesn't alter any behavior like this. Better Combat is what adds the 2H system.
