[Velocity] -> NeoForge server (Took to long to log in)

Describe the bug

When running velocity with a Neoforge Backend server running Sinytra + Forgified Fabric Api + Proxy Compatible Forge, you aren't able to join the server. It always throws a 'Took to long to log in' error

Steps to reproduce

  1. Setup a Proxy with modern forwarding (With or without Ambassador)
  2. Setup a NeoForge 1.21.1 server and install Sinytra, Forgified Fabric Api and Proxy Compatible Forge
  3. Config the server to work with modern forwarding (Put the server is offline mode, put the proxy secret in pcf-common config file)
  4. Add the server ip and port to your velocity configuration
  5. Start Velocity & NeoForge
  6. Attempt to join
  7. Unable to connect (Took to long to connect.)

Additional context

  • Velocity version: 3.4.0-SNAPSHOT (git-f986eb51-b427)
  • NeoForge Version: 1.21.1-21.1.137
  • Happens with or without Ambassador

Also I didn't test without modern forwarding, as my whole network runs with it and I don't want to reconfig everything to use another forwarding method.
