Better compatibility with Basin

Describe the feature you have in mind.
Slicing in a Basin currently offers no difference to doing so on a belt.
I think the added complexity warrants it to at least implement the Mixer like behavior of staying in the down position to continue cutting as long as the required ingredient(s) is/are present and the slicer has the valid tool.
Or alternatively add a config to enable bulk crafting for the Basin. I.e. Have it complete as many crafts at once as it can.
Does this solve a particular problem?
The slicer constant clanking getting on my nerves...
thinking of, is there a way to swap the sound from the create mechanical press clank to the farmer's delight cutting noise or something else via datapack?
