It'd be cool to have hammers and excavators like Tinker's Construct had in 1.7.10 and I believe 1.12 as well.
(They're basically 3x3 pickaxes and shovels with their own part head.)

I want to try working on it in a fork, if that's alright!

I will be making more tools and materials after I code the modification system which is what I am planning to do next.

Go ahead with the fork! I don't mind and of course contribution is more than welcome if you plan to do that.
