What if snow depth when layering through snowfall was 2 shorter than the next highest block down to a minimum of 2. Snow fall after snowfall the layers would build up and smoothen out ridges. It woud be efficient to implement.

I pick living in a snow biome when I can and end up doing this myself and it looks really nice and for it to slowly accumulate would be awesome.

Alternatively what I was hoping for this mod to do was to make at least 2 layers of snow because it stops mobs spawning, and the settings there's the choice of letting everything melt down to 1 and letting mobs spawn or letting it grow until 8 and letting mobs spawn. It'd be nice if it could be set to go to a max of like 2 or 3.
