Snow on bottom brick slabs makes light pass through them

As the title says, bottom facing slabs with snow on them lets light through. It's a bit problematic for mob farms and the like when built high up. You can see what I mean in the screenshot below. I removed the snow from the right half of the creeper farm's ceiling and left the rest.
