Description

When playing with Fabric Seasons and Snow Under Leaves, snow will generate under leaves in the winter but will not melt in the summer.

Considerations

This also can happen when generating winter terrain with Simple Snowy Fix, or with just Fabric Seasons by growing trees in winter.
This issue is also logged in Snow Under Leaves. Regardless, the simpler solution listed below should be considered on this end as the issue is not entirely unique to Snow Under Leaves.

Potential Solutions

The best solution I can think of gameplay-wise is to add an option to melt snow and ice in warm biomes when exposed to sun or under leaves in the sun. A simpler solution with less room for edge cases would be to add a config to melt snow and ice in warm biomes, regardless of sun exposure.
