Bug Description

When manipulating the world with plugins like World Edit or Voxel Sniper the areas affected would sometimes become completely dark.

(This was not found by me, but a player using an optimization modpack that I made)

Possibly related to: #1881

Their initial message to me:
"I don't know why this is happening, It just started when I was building using World Edit and Voxel, leaving these black spheres. I've tried to reinstall starlight and that didn't work either. I've had this problem with other mod packs, but have no idea which mod is causing it. It also happens on other servers where there will be chunks with just no lighting, if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it please help."

Note that we tried removing Starlight entirely to rule out other mods affecting the light rendering, but it made no difference.

We tried downgrading Sodium to version 0.5.1, which appears to have solved the issue. (This is with very limited testing however)

Further testing showed that it was not Sodium causing this issue. Sorry for the trouble.
