
Its a Uncompatbility (Or Bug) Time

Uncompatbility lists after using the mod for a few weeks:
Energy nbt isnt in root, therefore not discharging to blocks (besides if its pulled/pushed manually)
Battery upgrade goes into the NEGATIVES (it doesnt stop charging until its ARLEADY in the negatives instead of checking if it will go into the negatives)
^ place that near any energy cable, battery, etc. and you break the game (world softlock (by personal experience ๐ก))
pump upgrade filter doesnt work at all (set it to "allow" and add any liquid and it still pumps closest at player position
jukebox upgrade keeps playing note particles after disc ends and clicking multiple times doesnt let you stop the music (even unequipping the backpack)
upgrades can go out of screen (maybe uh, make them all open in the same position?), lower upgrades are sometimes unaccessible with max GUI size

Okay so there are 5 issues here:

Some unnamed mods can not extract energy from the battery upgrade

Battery upgrade magically goes into negative charge

Battery upgrade in the negatives leads to a soft lock with unnamed energy cable mod

Pump upgrade filter not working (can confirm that one)

Upgrade tab can go out of screen (tested against the forge version, same problem, will report it to p3pp3erf1y and let him decide what todo)
For 2 & 3:
The log you provided does not help, I would need a crash log for the softlock or step by step instructions on how to get the bugged state of the battery upgrade and what energy cable mod you used.
In general I need more Information and a bug report for each issue with the appropriate information in it not 1 for all issues
I js placed a superconductor cable (tech reborn) near a backpack with -5 energy (and a energized power battery block connected to the battery)
ill give a modpack link with a test world later
I see that is why I couldn't reproduce it in my tests.

About AE2 from what I remeber this is also not working in the forge version.

even though the backpack energy wasnt negative, it still crashed (?). Same behaviour with both cables. Same behaviour with a negatively charged backpack.
Used energized power and tech reborn. Most likely will crash with anything else like Powah.
AE2 Energy P2Ps dont work (no crash either) as the backpack isnt pushing energy
So update time:
Issue 1 - 4: Fixed in dev and will be part of the next update

nevermind this is still here (why am I so stupid man ๐)
(make the right and left upgrade upgrade lists scrollable (also fixes issues with >10 upgrade slots), upgrade settings tab opens in the lower half of backpack gui)
