missing compatibility for later versions of JEI (15.20.105)

I downgraded JEI on my mod pack, and everything works fine. But it's a little annoying, given that everything else is compatible with the latest release.
JEI works fine for me with
JEI 15.20.0.105
Sophisticated Backpacks 1.20.1-3.20.17.1.60
Sophisticated Core 1.20.1-0.7.12.2.96
What version of the sophisticated mods do you have and what is not working for you?
My bad. This pack requires the beta stream of jei, and there's an older edition that got marked as a release that Curse Forge messed with and added to my pack behind my back
