Netherite double chests interfere with EMI or JEI with a central search bar when you have the GUI scale set at 4 or greater. Reducing the amount of rows by 1 more before it wraps to need scrolling should eliminate this conflict.

That appears to be just an EMI issue - JEI with search set to center will move the search to the side when it determines that current screen is too tall for the search to not be overlapped. So I would say this needs to be solved on EMI because even if I change side here the same thing will happen with any other mod that has a tall gui.
