[BUG 1.20.1] Sophisticated Storage: (Advanced) Feeding Upgrade not working in Barrels/Chests

Modpack: Society: Sunlit Valley (Minecraft 1.20.1)
Mod Versions:
Sophisticated Storage: 1.4.9.1317
Sophisticated Core: 1.2.94.1169
Sophisticated Backpacks: 3.24.7.1376
The Bug: The (Advanced) Feeding Upgrade, when placed in a Sophisticated Storage block (like a Barrel or Chest), does not feed or heal the player, even when fully configured correctly.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a Sophisticated Storage block (e.g., Spruce Iron Barrel).
Install an (Advanced) Feeding Upgrade.
Place food (e.g., Bread, Golden Apples) inside the barrel's inventory.
Open the upgrade's GUI.
Set the food items in the Filter Slots.
Activate the Triggers (e.g., "Feed when hunger is low" - Green Apple, and "Feed when health is low" - Red Heart).
Stand directly next to the barrel.
Lose hunger or take damage.
What Happens: Nothing. The player is not fed or healed, even when hunger/health is low and the player is standing directly next to the block.
What Was Expected: The player should be automatically fed/healed by the upgrade, as per the configuration.
Troubleshooting Already Performed:
In-Game Configuration: Confirmed that filters are set and triggers (Heart + Apple) are enabled.
Range Test: Player is standing directly on/next to the block.
Config Files (Common): Checked sophisticatedcore-common.toml. The upgrades are confirmed to be enabled: enabledItems = [... "sophisticatedstorage:advanced_feeding_upgrade|true", ... "sophisticatedstorage:feeding_upgrade|true" ...]
Config Files (Server): Checked sophisticatedstorage-server.toml. There are no settings that disable the function or set its range to 0.
Conclusion: The feature is fully enabled in all config files and configured correctly in-game, but does not function. This strongly suggests a bug or a mod conflict within the "Societas: Sunlit Valley" modpack that blocks the upgrade's triggers. The Feeding Upgrade in Sophisticated Backpacks (worn) works fine.
