Is there any reason you haven't released a 1.7.10 build? I haven't tested it extensively, but the 1.7.10 branch has worked without any problems for me (I had to change the build script a bit to make it compile, though).
Seeing how you said you didn't like how the port turned out, do you have any plans on revisiting it?
The main reason is that i didn't really like how it came out and that it's not up to date, it does works decently though.
Here's the latest build, i haven't tried it out but it should work fine
Is this build available anywhere? I've been tracking this for a while, and it seemed that progress on it stopped.
If it's still pretty good, though, I'd love to have an experimental 1.7.10 build out there.
Very few issues so far, but I don't know if you're still open to receiving any for this version.
The only big, somewhat game-breaking issue I've discovered so far is that you lose all sound after using one of Witchery's Mirrors until you restart your game.
I'm not certain on the reason why, but it seems as though Witchery uses outdated methods for teleportation, which also has effects like hiding your XP level and causing some errors in the console.
It's fine for the most part, though not ideal.
I wonder if there's any way this could be solved on your end, and if you're even still considering updating the 1.7.10 branch any further.
It doesn't crash, but the log gets this set of errors: https://pastebin.com/nQdeG1U3
The bug also doesn't seem to happen every time.
As I was getting that log, I went in and out without losing sound, and I thought it meant my previous issue was a one-time thing, but after a few more tries I lost sound as expected.
I can get sound back by reloading the sound system with F3+S, but that's really slow and not at all practical.
Try this build, it should fix the issue and log the error rather than crash the whole sound system when it errors out. It's a problem that was also happening in 1.12.2 sometimes with TE's ducts.
I got this error, but I kept sound. I'd say that worked, but I'm curious to know what's going on.
