Currently both Sophisticated Backpacks and Sophisticated storage do not play item sounds from Sounds. Would be amazing if support was added for them.

I wish this was on 1.20.1 too.

This will be covered in Sounds 2.5.0 - again, support for 1.20.1 has been dropped for a while now, I would really recommend updating to the latest version of the game @DadamaldaDad
