Keyboard sound spam when holding shift in an anvil's text box

When holding shift while inside an anvil's text box (in my case, because I'd like to shift click items in and out of the slots), the keyboard click sound plays seemingly every frame. This behavior is not present in any other text boxes I've seen. It's pretty annoying.
