these areas keep appearing in my worlds, so after using mcedit to inspect the area where they appear and it showed there was a invincible and invisible skeleton.

I suspect its this mod that's spawning in these entities because I at the time of testing only had this mod installed and after removing it from the mod list it made these entities disappear, letting players place blocks in these previously unbuildable area.
