Describe the bug
Mobs that are short enough, will sink in rotten ground enough that their hitbox will be entirely inside of the block. Trying to attack this mob with melee damage will instead collide with the block, making the player attempt to break it instead.

To Reproduce
Spawn a silverfish, endermite, or eraser inside of rotten ground.
Try to hit it.
Notice that you do not damage the mob, and instead start the block breaking animation.

Expected behavior
Rotten ground's block collision or whatever causes the wireframe, is the size of the actual block, or some other way to let the player attack the mob instead of breaking the block.
