No vanilla stone variants generate when stone stripe features are turned off

When I disable the stone_stripe_features config setting, I have noticed that no vanilla stone variants spawn in the world (andesite, diorite, granite). I suspect the stone stripes disable vanilla stone generation regardless of what the config is set to.
Minecraft version: 1.19.2
Spelunkery version: 0.1.13-forge
Moonlight Lib version: 2.2.25-forge
Forge version: 43.2.8
This happens even when no other mods are present.
