ive seen a report on this already but after getting it myself and noticing it, I took a few moments to make some observations and figure out whats going on here

it appears that foods that would apply debuffs still function (or some work to some extent)

The main issue does not occur if the Hunger value is set back to where diminishing returns are essentially disabled; meaning that whatever is going on to implimentent it is inadventently breaking it; even if you havent eaten the food in your history this still happens

Closing this issue, it seems that an update fixed this issue
