This has been mentioned before in issue #56 , but that was almost 5 years ago so I was wondering what your stance on this is now. (I also commented there but am not fully familiar with github, so I wasn't sure if you would be notified of it, so I deleted it and am posting it like this now).

Do you still consider the "half a heart is empty" thing mentioned in the other issue a big problem? It seems pretty normal to encounter this when playing modded to me, I definitely wouldn't mind it. I think anyone using a .5 heart setting would be aware of this. I'm using this mod alongside Spice of Life: Valheim Edition, so half hearts of maximum health are definitely common, but maybe that's just me. (Edit: Personally I'm using the "colourful hearts" mod, which avoids the issue of half hearts of maximum health appearing half empty pretty much entirely. Modpack creators can definitely work around it.)

I think this would be a great option to make milestones feel more obtainable, giving players a greater sense of accomplishment and motivation. E.g. instead of having milestones for a full heart at 16 and 36, have half heart milestones at 9, 16, 25 and 36. That would make the curve feel better without giving out tons of health. It also always felt a bit weird to me that unlike most other mods, the config here uses "hearts" instead of "health" (1 health being half a heart).

I hope it's okay to ask for this again after such a long time, but I think this would be a great change! If you are still against it just close this issue of course, that's fair enough. I saw you mention in the other thread that you're only really maintaining this mod and not actively playing MC anymore, so I totally get if this is too much work too. Thanks for maintaining it!
