Description of your suggestion.

Hi! As of the current state, using any create machines like the encased fan+fire resets the data for the food's spoilage timer, as well as process assemblies from "Delightful Creators" resets the data

this means that the food will never spoil after being crafted.

Would it be possible to make the two mods work together? :>

Additionally, in some mods there are items that can be smelt into food. In this case things like farmer delight's fried eggs.
With the mod enabled, if you put two eggs into a furnace, it'll only smelt one of the game as the game doesn't know it could also put the other one into the inventory slot (NBT data is being read wrong[?])

No clue! Cheers and thank you for making a mod that's already very very flexible! I love how you solve stacking issues by keeping numbers low, simply only tagging the season and year they were made on, not individual days! Makes storage of all that's spoiled/spoiling way easier!
As i found out... you can just put spoiled food into the slot of the single not spoiled food. making it automatically fresh. Is that intentional? Maybe mods conflicting?
Nope again, seemed to be an issue on my end. relaunched the game and the stacking works as intended now (it wont stack). Might've been a mod conflicting that i removed, neat!
This is exactly the kind of clean solutions i love!
