This crash happens within ~5 seconds of loading an existing or new world. From IRC chat channels, people said it could be a corrupt Java download, so I updated to Java7u71 and also deleted and re-downloaded a new Minecraft .jar. Those did not fix the issues so I went through the last mods I had updated and sure enough, when I downgraded to 1.0.2 the problem disappears.

I just fixed this in the latest commit but I am not at a PC to compile the mod to push it as a release. But rest assured it is fixed next update

That 1.0.3a update seemed to do the trick. Been running for the last five minutes with no issues. Thanks a bunch! I really really love this mod (Night vision potion effect without killing every other particle, to be exact). Thanks so much and happy holidays :)
