I've noticed that the elephants have a different way of spawning than the rest of mobs in the game, they don't spawn when you load the terrain for the first time but rather periodically after spending some time in the area loading the chunks, i'm not sure if this was made intentionally, if it is i apologize, the problem is that they spawn really often, if you have a base or something similar in a meadow they will keep spawning a lot in the area, this makes the elephant way more common rater than a rare mob, is this is not what you want it will become a bit annoying to be in the meadow biome if the elephants don't stop spawning there, thx

Haha I have a different problem, elephants don't appear in my world for some reason, I'm exploring new areas to see if they appear. I'll bring results and let you know.
