Was the fish wait time changed? I'm getting fish approaching and biting pretty much instantly after casting out my line. I have no enchantments on my rod at all. Usually I'd expect it to be this fast with a few levels of Lure, but its just a plain vanilla rod. I'm playing on version 2.0

We halve the time you have to wait a little to counteract the time you are spent playing the minigame to prevent our mod from slowing down your overall fishing experience. This feature can be configured or disabled through server config if you wish.
