Carcass Craziness

The Sheep Carcass (And Skinned Sheep) is absolutely huge when it is dropped on the ground if 3d items are on.

As far as I've seen, only the Sheep Carcass is affected.

Also, The Chicken Carcass (and Skinned Chicken) appear upside down in the inventory.

In addition, The Chicken appears to float above the Spit Roast when placed on it.

I've uploaded screenshots of the issues to imgur: http://imgur.com/a/MvcUI

The chicken upside down in inventory is intended. All other things are bugs. Thanks for reporting.

What other mods do you have in the pack?

I have quite a few in the screenshots (such as dynamic surroundings, survivalist, thaumcraft, etc.). However, I've also recreated the bugs in a fresh install (using the curse launcher) with only Starvation Ahoy and Forge 11.15.1.1764

Footage of the giant sheep attack can be seen here (though the URL would have you believe a duck was the mastermind): https://gfycat.com/GoodnaturedNastyDuck

what version of Starvation Ahoy?

0.2.2

While streaming yesterday, I noted that the "giant model" bug seems to affect different carcasses each time i play.

Last night it was Cows and Rabbits. Sheep and pigs were fine.

that's really weird. if you have the world that would be great

Sure! Sorry it took so long to respond. Busy with work.

Here is the world: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/97076550/Starvation%20Ahoy%20Test.zip

Here is what I'm looking at in the world when I quit and saved it.

I threw 1 of each carcass on the ground. As you can see, some are rendering like normal, the rest are giant.

This is a fresh install with Starvation Ahoy being the only mod.

So you know all the variables, I'm using the Curse Voice launcher, Forge 11.15.1.1764, and I have the latest Java 8 (just updated yesterday)

OK. Thank you!

I would like to confirm this, and add that cooking a pig on a spit roast stand also renders incorrectly.

I'm using the Curse Launcher, Forge 11.15.1.1875, and java 1.8.0_25 64bit (the one that comes with Minecraft)
This is an excellent mod concept, and I look forward to using it once these bugs are squashed.

The pig offset has been fixed right now, but I believe that it is only on the 1.9 beta branch

commented

Forgot to mention that I was playing that in 1.8.9

commented

I may release a final 1.8.9 patch to fix this bug

commented

That would be great.
Also, I'd like to point out that I've experienced the "large floating mob" bug with mobs other than StarvationAhoy's mobs, so the problem apparently isn't exclusive to this mod.
I will attempt to duplicate it with a different mob and post screenshots here. That may save you from trying to track down an issue not related to your project.

This is a very late reply, but if anyone is still having this problem can you tell us what gpu you are using?
