Breaking down wooden blocks besides logs etc. not possible

Hi,
I've noticed it is currently not possible to break any vanilla wooden block beside of logs/planks and so on. There is a harvest level (axe:stone) shown on logs, but only (axe) on other wooden blocks.
The blocks itself are recognized as "wooden block", because harvesting speed is increased with axes, but there is no drop at all.
