What do you think about the idea of changing the recipe for stone chests so that a regular wooden chest is required as the central ingredient in the crafting? That way the recipe will look more logical and crafting wooden chests will still be necessary (otherwise I catch myself using only stone chests and not making wooden chests at all, because stone ones are safer)
