• hold items with same id and meta-id 0..15 (like dye, wool, carpet, glass, ...)
• looks like compacting drawer (stone, horizontally splitted)
• upper half with icon of item:0
• lower half with a 4x4 color map
• right/left click on color map to insert/extract specific color
• right click on upper half to insert all colors from inventory
• config for additional items

optional:

• like with compressed sand/cobblestone/gravel, if accepted item
  with higher meta id is inserted than shift range to 16..31, 32..47, ...
• in case of insert over controller, then have other drawers with same
  item (eg. lapis in compacting drawer) higher priority
