basically imagine drawers as tanks with all the upgrades and Drawer controller features.

this makes more sense in combination with mods that add a lot of liquids, Advanced Rocketry, Immersive Engineering + Petroleum, NuclearCraft, Gregtech, Mekanism, etc

and is even better with mods like AE² where you can put a Storage bus on a Drawer controller and access all liquids from the ME Network

and automation of certain things also becomes far easier, no need for Liquid filters when handling a machin with multiple liquid outputs, you just use multiple drawers all locked to a single liquid to filter the output.

sure you could do all this with normal tanks but then you wouldn't have a fancy wall of them (since most taks in most mods are not opaque or full blocks), and it wouldn't have the insane Storage Upgrades, and of course the Piping convenience of the Drawer Controller.
