Drawer puller in keyring not working

I am able to place a drawer puller item into a keyring but when I try to use it on a drawer, it does not remove the drawer. Taking the puller off of the keyring and using the puller on it's own works as expected.
Storage Drawers Version: 12.7.2
NeoForge Version: 47.1.106
