At present in 1.7.10, if you have a taped drawer in your inventory, you have no way to know what is in the taped drawer. What I am suggestion is adding the contents to the tooltip that shows up when you hover the mouse over an item in your inventory.
Also, for taped drawers that are placed, enabling the contents to still be shown in WAILA when you look at the taped drawer in the world would be nice also. Having the contents of the drawer vanish from WAILA simply because you put tape on it is rather odd. When you put tape on a moving box in real life, you generally write the contents on the outside of the box, same premise here.

Is this being considered? Taped drawers don't seem to exist anymore, but they do keep their contents when placed.
